When I wrote this song, I kept holding onto the notion that the human race survives on pure beauty. Maybe not literally, but metaphorically. They simply thrive on such a thought, and everything that isn't beautiful should just do their own thing without expressing it. Knowing that a lot of couples may have come together simply for their looks, it's a frightening concept.
